How does fat dissolving work?

Fat dissolving includes a series of small injections directly into the fatty tissue. The fat dissolving solution dissolves fat cells, which are then gradually metabolised by the body and eliminated through the liver and natural waste removal systems.

Your appointment starts with a consultation to assess the target areas and exclude contraindications. On the day of the treatment, we clean and disinfect the treatment area. Are there any side effects?

Mild swelling, bruising, and redness at the injection site are common and should subside within a few days. Extremely rare side effects include temporary numbness or tenderness in the treated area.

 

Is fat dissolving suitable for everyone?

What to expect after your session

After a fat dissolving treatment, some swelling, redness, and slight bruising may happen and should subside within a few days. The treated area may feel tender, and mild itching or firmness can also happen as the body processes the dissolved fat.

You can return to normal activities immediately, but it’s advisable to avoid heavy exercise for a couple of days.
