What you need  to know before your appointment?

• Look after your skin before getting semi permanent eyeliner. If your skin is sensitive, moisturise it well.
• Do not tint your eyelashes, get lvl treatments for about a month, and remove lash extensions 2 weeks before treatment.
• Do not apply any skincare containing vit C, Retinols, scrubs, AHA and BHA acids as they can irritate your skin.
• Choose a time for your appointment when you don’t have any important events – you won’t be able to wear makeup for around a week. Let your eyeliner heal properly to avoid any potential infections.
• 48 hours before your appointment, do not take aspirin and ibuprofen – they increase the risk of bruising and bleeding during the treatment.
• Avoid alcohol for 2-3 days before your appointment. Alcohol is a blood thinner and can cause more bleeding and bruising.
• During your consultation, we will give you printed, detailed instructions to follow before and after your appointment. When booking your consultation, you will receive an email with all the necessary information (questions to disclose any contraindications, conditions or medications, please make sure you answer everything truthfully, to avoid complications).

What is the recovery time for permanent eyeliner.

• After your treatment, some swelling and redness can be expected but this will subside quite quickly. Initial healing takes about 5-7 days, after you can start applying your eye makeup.
• Cleanse your eyeliner with sterile water or saline solution, then apply a recommended healing cream.
• Complete healing process takes 4 to 6 weeks, during this time pigment fully settles. We cannot do the touch up before this time to avoid scarring.
• Several factors may influence the healing process. This includes your health, immune system, and lifestyle. For example people who smoke, and those with certain health conditions may experience slower recovery.
• Do not tan, use SPF around your eyes to protect the skin. Avoid swimming and steam rooms during the healing period.

How long does semi permanent eyeliner tattoo last?

It usually lasts between 2 to 5 years. Lifestyle and tanning can make a difference in how long it lasts and how it looks. With proper after care, your eyeliner will look vibrant and last longer.

Is permanent eyeliner tattoo painful?

Discomfort can vary for each person, as everyone has a unique pain tolerance. Some clients describe the sensation as unusual feeling rather than pain. People often describe the experience as ticklish or surprisingly painless. To help keep you comfortable, we apply a topical numbing cream. This helps to keep clients relaxed and they adjust quickly.
