Russian or volume lashes means that there is more than just one extension applied to one natural lash.

2D set of lashes has 2 extensions attached to a natural lash, 3D and 4D sets have 3 or 4 extensions on one lash, and 6D has 6 extensions on one natural eyelash. Russian lashes are much finer and extremely light. They give fluffy, light and denser effect when compared to classic lashes. 2-3D set gives a medium thickness and 4-6D fuller and thicker look, making it ideal for weddings, larger events, and photo shoots. Application of volume sets takes from 2-3 hours. The length of the russian lashes is shorter, as these meant to accentuate the volume not the length.
