• Moisturise and look after your skin days leading to your appointment
• Don’t use retinols, vit C or AHA BHA acids for at least a month before your appointment
• Don’t tan

 

Permanent eyeliner tattoo aftercare

• During the healing process, you may experience tight, dry skin. This is normal and that’s why you need to moisturise well.
• Avoid removing any flaky skin, as this may lead to uneven pigmentation and scarring. Don’t touch, pick, peel or rub your new enhancement.
• Apply the recommended aftercare cream after each wash. Wash your enhancement with sterile water 3-4 times a day or when necessary.
• Avoid pools, steam rooms, facial treatments, and tanning until your skin has fully healed.
• Don’t apply makeup in the first 5-7 days
• Wash your hands well before touching your enhancement and cream application
• Use sunscreen on the treated area when sunny.

Before you book your eyeliner appointment you should know this:

• Avoid tinting your eyelashes, getting lvl and perm treatments, or lash extensions. If you already have semi-permanent lash extensions remove them a week before your appointment.
• Pick a time for your appointment when you don’t have any important events, as you won’t be able to wear makeup on the treated area for a week.
• For 48 hours before appointment don’t take aspirin and ibuprofen, don’t drink alcohol.
• Book your top up appointment between 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment.

How Long it takes for Permanent Eyeliner to Heal?

It takes around 5-7 days for the eyeliner to heal on the outside, so you can start wearing makeup after that time. But the invisible healing continues for 4-6 weeks, that’s why your eyeliner can’t be touched up before then.

 

Is permanent eyeliner painful?

We use numbing cream to make this treatment comfortable, but sensation may vary from person to person, as we all have different pain threshold levels.
