What is Sunekos?

Sunekos is an injectable skin booster that contains hyaluronic acid and six amino acids. It improves skin quality, hydration and elasticity and makes the skin produce more collagen and elastin.

Can Sunekos be used under the eyes?

Yes. Sunekos is used around the eyes to improve moisture and treat fine lines and thin, crepey skin.

Is Sunekos the same as dermal filler?

No. Sunekos improves quality of skin, hydration and elasticity. It doesn’t fill the hollows or gaps, it makes the skin better.

How many Sunekos treatments will I need?

A course of three to four treatments is usually recommended, with appointments four weeks apart.

When will I see results from Sunekos?

Some people notice a difference after the first session, but results develop gradually. It may take two months to see improved moisture, with results getting gradually better over 6 months as your skin produces more collagen.

How long do Sunekos results last?

This depends on your skin, and how you respond to treatment. Maintenance may be recommended to help maintain the results. After 6 months collagen production within the skin goes back to normal (how much collagen your skin produces depends on your age and your lifestyle, tanning, nutrition etc)

Is Sunekos suitable for men?

Yes. Sunekos can be used by men who want to improve dry skin, fine lines or thin, crepey skin under the eyes.

Does Sunekos hurt?

It is not painful. Treatment is quick and minimally invasive. If you are sensitive, we can apply numbing cream before treatment.

Is there any downtime after Sunekos?

You may have small injection marks, tiny papules where the product was injected, extremely rarely mild swelling or bruising. These usually settle the same day.

You don’t need any time off and can usually return to normal activities the same day.

Can Sunekos be combined with other treatments?

Sometimes,Sunekos may be combined with treatments such as microneedling or other skin boosters, depending on your skin and the treatments involved.

Not every combination is suitable for everyone. We advise individually what is appropriate for each person and skin condition.

Who shouldn’t have Sunekos?
