Terms & conditions of use

 

In order to confirm your appointment we require a non refundable booking fee, that will be used as part of the payment towards to your service. This will need to be paid BEFORE your scheduled appointment. Until the booking fee has been paid we reserve the right to offer this appointment to another client. We hold appointments for 24hours.

Clients should provide at least 24 working hours notice for up to 1 hour appointments, 48 working hours for longer appointments and 72 working hours for permanent makeup and medical micro-pigmentation procedures if they wish to reschedule their appointment, or the 50% of the full procedure charge will apply (unless we are able to reallocate the scheduled time to another client, in which case only the deposit will be chargeable). Please note our salon is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Clients who fail to arrive to their agreed appointment, arrive more than 15 minutes late, or reschedule their appointment without giving appropriate notice understand that their non-refundable booking fee shall be forfeited.

We understand that sometimes things can happen and that they are outside of our control. If appropriate notice has been given, we are happy to reschedule your appointment. The option to reschedule can only be used once, after which it will be considered a cancellation and will result in losing your booking fee, irrespective of the number of working days notice given for the reschedule/cancellation.

Booking your permanent makeup touch up appointment: a complimentary touch-up appointment is included in the price of the treatment, it should be taken around 4-6 weeks after your initial procedure, but no longer than 12 weeks after. Any touch up appointments made after this time is chargeable. Please book your touch up appointment with notice, as we may not have any suitable availability at a later date.  If you fail to arrive to your appointment or provide less than 72 hour reschedule notice, you will lose this complimentary appointment.

Booking your eyelash extensions top up appointment: All clients must return with 40-50% of remaining set of lashes, and within 28 days, to be classed as an infill. If you wait too long or not have enough lashes for an infill, your top up appointment may become a new set appointment. Appointment time for infills include make-up removal, lash cleaning, preparation of lashes, removal of grown out lashes and application of new extensions. It is recommended to remove all eye make-up properly before your appointment to ensure the maximum amount of time is spent on the application of your new extensions (Valuable appointment time lost through removing make-up and other products will not be made back. It is in your best interests to be prepared for appointments).

Due to extreme variations in application standards, we DO NOT Infill over lashes from other salons.

Children 15 years old or younger cannot be treated, 16-17 years old with parental consent and presence during the eyelash extensions treatment. If an underage client will arrive to their appointment without a parent, they will loose their booking deposit fee, and we will not be able to go ahead with the treatment. To book a permanent makeup procedure clients need to be 18 years old or over.

Due to the nature of the products and equipment used, children and pets cannot be present during ANY treatments including consultation appointments.

 

TRAINING COURSE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Payment

To secure a training course we require £50 non-refundable deposit/booking fee. Remaining balance must be paid in full at least 14 days before the course date, to avoid losing training date and deposit.

Special offers

If a training was booked on a special offer it cannot be transferred to any other date once it is booked. If you wish to change your booking to a later date, then a £30 admin/re-booking fee will apply. 

Changing a course date/reschedule

You can only transfer the same training course you booked to a different date. The option to transfer can only be used once, after which it will be considered a cancellation and all outstanding invoices will remain due, irrespective of the number of working days notice given for the reschedule/cancellation.

If you wish to reschedule a course you need to let us know at least 21days before your course start date.

If you let us know that you wish to reschedule the course with less than 21 days notice you will still be charged the full remaining balance. Requests must be received in writing via email to info@beauty-bar.co.uk and must include details (name, address and booking details). Your request will be confirmed in writing along with any invoice for remaining fees.

Course dates

We reserve the rights to change or move the course dates without liability. In the event of a cancellation where we cannot offer any alternative dates in respect of that course, we will offer a full refund. 

Cancellation exceptions

If approved and at our discretion we can offer a voucher to the value of the original fee paid (minus admin fee of £100), which can be used against any future training bookings within the following 6 months period.

 

BEAUTY BAR PRIVACY POLICY

At Beauty Bar we’ve always known how important your privacy is to you. With new Data Protection laws coming into force on 25th May 2018 we wanted you to know that it’s important to us too.

Whilst we do hold personal information such as your name, address, phone number and email address, together with limited medical information if you have been in for a consultation, we want to assure you that we will never pass on your data to any third party.

Any photographs and video footage, including images of treatments that we may hold of you will only be used as previously agreed and that it was authorised and signed by you on the understanding that it was for this purpose.

Personal information about you such as your e mail address, home address and telephone numbers are held in the secure place and this information is not accessible to the public and only authorised members of staff have access to it. We also hold paper copies of signed consent forms together with chart notes of treatments carried out.

For legal reasons if you have undergone a treatment with Beauty Bar we may have to keep your details for a time period of ten years.

We may occasionally e-mail you with updates or news about the services that we offer or follow up information regarding your treatment. However, we respect the fact that you may not always want this contact from us and if you wish to stop receiving any further information from Beauty Bar please contact info@beauty-bar.co.uk with your decision to opt out of any further communication with Beauty Bar.
